Doubting and Thanksgiving
If you are doubting, you are not alone. The main man on the stage of today's story doubted God's plan for him even though it was delivered by the mouth of an Angel. We continue in Luke Chapter 1 and hear the story of Zechariah and Elisabeth and what God had in store for them. After 400 years of silence, God delivers a great message to the Priest as he is on the job in the Temple but it is is received with doubt and he is struck dumb for awhile. If we spent more time listening and thinking than speaking perhaps we might get a taste of what Zechariah was going through.
